Initial Ideas

After going through a few initial thoughts, I've decided to go with  a simple, 2D style for my entire website that sits well with all of my previous work. I have decided to build the website completely from scratch in Adobe Flash rather than use an online web-creation tool as, in my personal opinion, they don't hold anywhere near as much personality as I'm hoping for my website to have.

I've come up with the idea of making the website slightly more interactive than just clicking buttons using my new-found knowledge in Actionscript 3.0. This gives me quite a few options to choose from, but I think I'm going to go with a cartoon-styled version of my own head on the front page, with the eyes following the mouse cursor and tilting accordingly. I will have 4 pages so there are not too many - About, Portfolio, Games and Contact. This should be more than enough information to cover what is required of a personal website.
